Three boating courses are being offered starting in January 2017
Following on the success a few years ago, when we ran “Introduction to Weather” as an online course using Citrix “GoToMeeting,” Owen Sound Squadron will offer three more online courses, starting in January 2017.
For those who are interested in joining the many serious offshore sailors, who are looking beyond our ocean shores for their adventures, we will be offering “Boating 6: Offshore Marine Navigation I,” formerly known as Junior Navigator. This very interesting course will be mainly taught online by experienced offshore sailor, Doug Ryan. For more information, you may contact Doug directly at firstname.lastname@example.org Course starting date; January 11, 2016 at 7:00pm
Course Cost: $120.00
For those who have just started boating, have a PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operators Card), but wish to add to their boating pleasure with more seamanship and navigation skills, we suggest the following two courses taken in sequence:….
“Boating 2: Beyond the Basics” For more information, contact Brian Reis at email@example.com Course starting date; January 12, 2016 at 7:00 pm
